There are hotels for tourists, And then there are homes for travelers,
Some feed purely on business from customers, Some live on memories of friends that were once strangers,
Having renovated an old Garhwali house in a picturesque location we now offer multiple choices with comfortable lodging. Our guests have an option to choose from 5 categories of accommodation depending on their necessity and budget. Our categories range from private rooms to family room to hostel type pay per bed stay. And then of course stay in our camps or pitch their own amidst serene views.
With special instructions given to our professional cooks, they will do their best to serve our guests with light on stomach, hygienic and warm food. You also have an option to choose amongst seasonal vegetable dishes and fruits grown locally in our farms or the local villages. These are as organic as it gets. We also encourage you trying spicy Garhwali Cuisines available on our menu.
Surrounded by pine forests on one side, wanderers can easily get lost amidst the whispers of the pine leaves. Adventurers on the other side can walk through them and spot more than a hundred variety of birds, wild hens, indian civets, wild boars, foxes and leopards. Lucky ones can tumble upon a stream and the spontaneous ones can bathe in it too.
Sunrise and Sunset points are available at the property itself. So you are not paying just for the rooms and there are many more reasons to it too. We often have drum circles around bon-fires and local folk dancing and singing on occasions or on special requests. So feel free to bring your musical instruments and tune with them. A badminton court, few indoor games, a book shelf & more.

We share your passions equally and therefore urge you to come and be pampered to your heart's content by the wild bounty where any minute it seems a tiger will softly glide by. Spotting Asiatic Elephants, Deer, Birds, Boars, all this and more is yours for the taking in our gypsies with experienced drivers where along with the jungle safaris, we also arrange night stays for our guests at the government guesthouses.
Being bored of our monotonous working life, we three friends went to visit Lansdowne for the weekend. We didn't get any place to stay until we got there. Fund this quiet, lovely and peaceful place called Samskara and Samsara. It has a forest right next to it which is quite adventurous. Yummiest home made food, comfortable stay, clean washrooms, and great hospitality. Really impressive and definitely cost effective. Thank you Samskara for making our weekend one of the most memorable weekends we ever had. We will come back for sure. Sujata Verma
