There are hotels for tourists, and then there are homes for travelers, some feed purely on business from customers, some live on memories of friends that were once strangers, most would want to stare into a menu and choose, others can take in the smell of our organic garden and pick. What was once a dream is now slowly entering the waking-state.
So here it is, with vast open grounds for pitching tents and miles of Deodar forests for trekking, and with wildlife ranging from tree climbing monkeys to tree climbing leopards, wild boars and hippies.
Offbeat experiences in touristy places or a vista of denizens of the mighty forest? We share your passions equally and therefore urge you to come and be pampered to your heart's content by the wild bounty where any minute it seems a tiger will softly glide by. Spotting Asiatic Elephants, Deer, Birds, Boars, all this and more is yours for the taking in our gypsies with experienced drivers where along with the jungle safaris, we also arrange night stays for our guests at the government guesthouses.
“Being bored of our monotonous working life, we three friends went to visit Lansdowne for the weekend. We didn't get any place to stay until we got there. Found this quiet, lovely and peaceful pl Samskara and Samsara. It has a forest right next to it which is quite adventurous. Yummiest home made food, comfortable stay, clean washrooms, and great hospitality. Really impressive and definitely cost effective. Thank you Samskara for making our weekend one of the most memorable weekends we ever had. We will come back for sure.”
